Description

Overview

Selank consists of the tuftsin sequence (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg) extended with Pro-Gly-Pro to improve stability against peptidases.

In the laboratory it is used in studies of GABAergic gene expression, enkephalinase inhibition and peptide stability. No claims are made regarding effects in humans or animals.

Typical in-vitro applications

  • Gene-expression studies in neuronal cell culture
  • Enkephalin-degrading enzyme inhibition assays
  • Peptide stability and analytical reference work
