Description

Overview

Semaglutide is a GLP-1(7-37) analogue with an Aib substitution at position 8 and a C18 fatty-diacid side chain on Lys26, which promote albumin binding and resistance to DPP-4.

In the laboratory it is used in GLP-1 receptor activation, cAMP-signalling and albumin-binding assays. No claims are made regarding effects in humans or animals.

Typical in-vitro applications

  • GLP-1R activation assays (cAMP readout)
  • Albumin-binding and stability studies
  • Analytical method development for lipidated peptides
