Description

Overview

Gonadorelin is a synthetic decapeptide identical in sequence to native GnRH. It binds the GnRH receptor (GnRHR), a G-protein-coupled receptor expressed in pituitary gonadotroph cells.

In the laboratory it is used in GnRHR binding and signalling assays and as a reference standard. No claims are made regarding effects in humans or animals.

Typical in-vitro applications

  • GnRH-receptor binding and activation assays
  • Gonadotroph cell-line signalling studies
  • Analytical reference standard (HPLC/LC-MS)
